Given that we are all “diverse” individuals, with upbringings that are affected by different socio-economics, ethnic cultures, regions, religions, politics and other ideologies, we see the world through different “lenses.” Therefore when we interact with people who have different worldviews than ours, we tend to think of them as “difficult,” “strange,” or even “weird.” In this two hour facilitated session, participants will gain an understanding of how our lenses, or “perceptions” affect how we view the world and therefore impact the interactions we have with our colleagues and customers.

Born and raised in Malaysian Borneo, award winner Lillian A. Tsai specializes in the facilitation, training, design and implementation of cross-cultural competency, intercultural communications, diversity and inclusion (D&I) strategies and programs. She also specializes in coaching people of color and managers of minorities. Prior to starting TsaiComms in 2002, she spent 25 years in global high tech marketing and communications, which included an expatriate Global Director of Corporate Marketing assignment in Stuttgart, Germany.
