Short Military Bio: I enlisted in the Corps right after 9/11, I was a senior in high school & watched it all go down on the news. Within 6 weeks I was fully contracted, shipped out to bootcamp after I graduated. I earned my title as a Marine Nov 15th 2002. From there I did Area 52 Guard Duty & then hit School of Infantry. 2 weeks after SOI a few of us were flown to Kuwait & landed just 3 days before the invasion. I got to my unit just hours before we invaded & as orders hit we led the way as the first unit into country. I served with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Bn 1st Marine Division. We fought our way through Nasaryah, Baghdad & took over the last strong hold in Tikrit where Saddam was later found. I was awarded a Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation, Global War on Terrorism etc for our service in country. I was injured in the Corps leaving me with Traumatic Brain Injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Cervical Spinal Stenosis, Compressed Spinal Injury, AC Shoulder Separation & Tinnitus.
Goals: Rehabilitate injured combat vets & those suffering from PTSD. I'd also like to target obesity & help those with 30+lbs to lose. Bootcamp classes begin the Summer of 2015!
