I am here to help you find what works for you. This has worked for me and continues to do so. I am here to share with you. I'd like to share the short version of my story with you. (We can talk more later, but first: the basics.) I am in my mid thirties and mother of the most amazing little man I have met. I love to exercise and eat healthfully. I can also be pretty indulgent at times. I am cool with that. I have worked out, pretty religiously, for the last 15+ years. No kidding. Every day, just about. But- you wouldn't guess that from looking at me. I'm not skinny, rock-hard, or cellulite free. But- I'm fit, strong & healthy. My body works and I feel good. For that, I am grateful. I've had issues with my own body acceptance in the past. But, I feel more solid in that area of my life now.
The reason that I'm here, representing these workout and supplements is because they work for me.
Since I was 20, I have weighed about the same weight and my body has been basically the same. No matter how much I worked out (which was A LOT), I looked and felt basically the same. It was very frustrating. I was stuck at a plateau within the same 5-7 lbs,
I realize that there are many pieces to the fitness puzzle (nutrition being a huge piece). It wasn't until I started drinking Shakeology last year, that I started to see a change in my body.
I'm not going to try to convince you that I drank a shake every day and the weight just fell off. It was a combination of shakeology, improved exercise & nursing my baby boy. I lost over 10 pounds in 4 months.
The wild thing about this is, now, months later, the weight remains off. And, my diet is not perfect. I eat healthfully (organic, non-processed, REAL FOOD). But, I don't count every calorie or restrict myself. I like treats. I like snacks. My self control is not the best. I try to eat mindfully (always something to work on), but I am no food angel.
I use Beach Body workouts as often as I can. But, I was having a hard time doing the home workouts with my son at home. I just realized that I can take my laptop to the gym (where I have childcare), and use OnDemand in one of the racquetball courts. MIND BLOWN. This has completely revolutionized my fitness routine.
I'm here to help you find what works for you. I'd love to use every supplement, do every workout, complete every challenge. But, the reality is that every day is a challenge. I can only commit to what works for me. Its good to feel a little uncomfortable and challenge our routines. And sometimes the unattainable is secretly within our reach. Ultimately, we have to find the situation for us and always challenge that. I want to help you find what that means to you.
